Your Responsibilities
To secure the competence of future engineers, we are conducting this trainee program over 12 months. The trainee program means that you will have the opportunity to alternate education with practical work within a technical area in Development & Standards or Order Construction. You will receive in-depth training in the various systems you will be working with, as well as an overall understanding of Siemens Energy's organization, processes, and working methods, etc. You will work with people from all over the world and have the opportunity to develop and deepen your technical interest. You will be employed by Skill and belong to a Siemens Energy Hub with other trainees. When the trainee program is over, you may be offered to continue working in the regular operations. The program starts in late summer/autumn 2026.
Examples of tasks:
You should be interested in working with mechanical systems and can also contribute to streamlining working methods and processes.
You will work in an environment with challenging tasks where you will deliver results in projects as well as provide technical expertise in your area.
You will collaborate internally within the group as well as with other disciplines in the company and also with suppliers, and have the opportunity to contribute your technical knowledge to development and customer projects.
In collaboration with colleagues, you should actively contribute to ensuring that the technical solutions are cost-effective and quality-assured, as well as meet market demands and customer wishes.
You will work in various design programs and develop technical solutions.
Your Profile
You will graduate with a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, energy technology, or equivalent education by summer 2026.
You are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
You are meticulous and methodical in your work approach, able to analyze and critically assess products and solutions.
Personal qualities that we highly value for you as a trainee include good collaboration skills, being driven, having strong problem-solving abilities, as well as being responsible and flexible.
